DMR 4000
Inline Thickness Gauge for Quality Control with Measuring Rollers
The GreCon thickness gauge DMR 4000 can substantially contribute to fluctuations in thickness, deviations from nominal values and resulting losses in panel quality being detected in time.
GreCon Thickness Measurement
For the further processing of panels, an early detection is of considerable importance for the economy of the entire plant. The operator obtains all necessary information to quickly intervene in the production process, if necessary, to ensure the high quality standard of the production.
Furthermore, the measuring system can transfer all data to a press control or an automatic process control system. Run-in times for product changes can thus be reduced and rejects be minimised.
Your Benefit
No unacceptable material required to be added for sanding
= reduction of production costs (0.1 mm ~ 0.8 % material)
Combination with board scales possible to determine the raw density
Production control within restricted tolerance limits
Quick product change
Fast amortisation
Construction of the System
Up to 10 measuring tracks can be installed next to each other on a frame that is made out of patented aluminium profiles. The cable and air channels that are integrated in the profiles are protected against negative surroundings.
Vibrations or deformation of the panels that influence the measuring results are compensated by installing one measuring head each above and below the material flow. Due to an installation of the measuring heads in pairs and opposite each other, vibrations or deformation of the panels do not influence the measuring results.
High-precision rollers register changes in thickness and cause a vertical movement of the transducer. Inside the measuring heads, the measurement is achieved in a non-contact way by means of an optical element. To protect the measuring heads against mechanical damage by big blisters, for example, the top heads have special inclined inlet rails.
