Access to current as well as important background information is possible even faster and more effectively with the latest product of the GreCon R & D engineers, an intelligent touch and slide operation of the new generation of GreCon control consoles. The touch screen with all information of different levels concentrates the need for operation and information on only one display. A big advantage is the possibility to represent complete flowsheets. Areas that are concerned by current alarms can be examined more closely by means of the simple zoom function.
The touch and slide operation makes the handling of the control console very easy. The concept for an intuitive operation was based on the handling of modern mobile phones. Operating errors are practically impossible so that a safe utilisation of the entire system is possible without considerable need for training.

Easy Representation of the Flow of Information

Information can be selected and called up from the current screen content by means of direct touch. Details can be zoomed in without having to work through complicated and time-consuming menus by means of the slide function. Important data can be displayed ad hoc by direct selection of information via clear symbols. Furthermore, the display memory offers room to store electronic files. Instruction and operating manuals, for example, can be called up if required when a paper printout is not available. The display has protection IP 54 which allows an unproblematic and reliable utilisation in any industrial environment. Thus, there are no special demands on the installation place of the control console. The patented touch screen display can be retrofitted in older control consoles from model 2003 without problems.
