	SUPERSCAN GreCon developed a new method to visually inspect the surfaces of laminate floorings. Until now, no reliable visual quality control has been available in the increasing segment of laminate flooring production. SuperScan is adaptive. New patterns are read in - with the help of the operation staff - while production is running. Defective areas are marked on the bottom surface of the laminated panel determining the grid of cuts to be performed later. The sensors installed in the finishing line recognise the colour markings so that the defective parts can be sorted out. SuperScan makes an objective defect recognition, and thus significant quality standards are possible.Details Brochure

UPU 5000

GreCon developed a new ultrasonic camera. With it, the possibility now exists to eliably determine the glueing quality of wood-based panels directly following the press process.
With installation of this measuring system, for example after the press in particle board production plants, the limits can be defined even more closely. A further reduction of press times becomes possible. A new calibration method and an integrated dirt accumulation control hold the „zero adjustment“ of the measuring system always at the same level, so that a reliable statement about the glueing quality of the raw board becomes possible. The intelligent quality indicator of the ultrasonic camera makes it simpler for each operator to tune their production plant in such a way that this will produce no faults with a maximum yield. MWF 5000 LD

A reasonable extension of laboratory analysis is the new GreCon Laboratory Moisture Analyser MWF 5000 LD which is based on microwave technology. It can be used in combination with a GreCon Laboratory Density Analyser DA-X, the laboratory moisture measurement being controlled and evaluated by the existing visualisation system. Of course, the GreCon Laboratory Moisture Analyser MWF 5000 LD can also be supplied as stand-alone system.

With the GreCon Laboratory Moisture Analyser, the moisture content of ready panels can, without additional expense, be determined in a split second, archived or used for statistical purposes. Comparatively time-consuming procedures are thus a thing of the past.
